How are Instagram stories being collected?
There are two ways how you can trigger the collection of Instagram stories on the platform.
Note: These are the only ways the platform collects stories!
Automated way
The first way is to automate the process and let the system load all available stories by itself. This is done by adding an influencer to a campaign. As soon as an influencer is in a campaign, all Instagram stories published from that moment onwards will be loaded and saved automatically and be visible via the discover page for 60 days.
Manual way
The second way is to manually trigger the story collection. This is done by opening the influencer overview page within the 24 hours that a story is active on Instagram. If you want to make sure all stories are saved on the platform, you will need to open the influencer overview page every 24 hours. The following video shows how the story collection was triggered (gray circle around the profile picture).
Example: If you open the influencer profile of influencer x at 12.00 on day 5, all stories that were published between 12.00 on day 4 and 12.00 on day 5 are being collected and saved on the platform for 60 days.
