What is Engagement?

Engagement is a quantifiable score of actions such as shares, likes and comments for the specific content. It is important to mention, that a share has more value than a view or a comment and therefore has a bigger impact on the engagement score. Engagement is therefore a good metric to show how active the reached audience is. Even though the content reached 5.000 people, these could both share, comment and like the post and get an engagement score of 15.000.

Note: We don't provide raw values in our engagement score. We give a quantifiable score meaning we give each engagement activity i.e. like, share, comment a value (Example - like =10, comment = 30), which we multiply with the raw score to get the quantifiable engagement score. It's our own proprietary algorithm which does that.
